Ankit Suwal is a researcher, traveler, and enthusiast of art, music, and culture. He has been working as an assistant researcher at Kathmandu University, traveled solo, and as well as in groups across Europe, India, and the Himalayas extensively learning new cultures, art forms, and lifestyles. He is also working as a musician with his fiancee/counterpart Aarati Gurung performing folk/singer-songwriter as well as electronic fusion music with their duo Joon Tara.
