We have set up a hostel in Katunje, Bhaktapur from November 2021. Every year, the graduates from Shree Yanjer Gumba Basic School, usually after completing Grade 5, will join the hostel in Kathmandu and continue their education. The kids will usually come to the capital at the beginning of November and join the school from the new academic session i.e. around April.
Currently, we have 5 students. Pasang Miss, our teacher in Nyisal for 2021, is the hostel warden and will look after and guide the kids on their journey in Kathmandu.

We also accept direct sponsorship of the teachers, cooks and stationery materials, books, and other necessary things for the children.
We are looking for USD 15,000 this year (2022) which will include hostel setup (kitchen, furniture, beddings, etc.), food supplies, school tuition, educational materials, rent, utilities (water, electricity, internet, gas, etc.), insurance, and stipend (care takers, warden and tutor). This will also include cost for other activities like educational visits, and cultural events.
